Incredible depth, but needs better office management tool

I’ve been thoroughly enjoying my time with this game. The level of detail—from managing individual departments to the complexity of the stock market and executive hiring—is exactly what I’ve been looking for in a business simulator. It’s refreshing to find a game that captures the nuances of running a company so well. However, I’ve hit a few hurdles regarding office space and HR management that could use some improvement. Currently, once a department hits its physical desk capacity (like my HR floor reaching 24/24), it’s difficult to expand without essentially rebuilding your entire operation in a new location. The game’s notification system also makes it tricky to manage staffing across multiple buildings, as it continues to prompt for more employees even when I’ve opened capacity elsewhere. It would be a huge quality-of-life improvement if there were better ways to manage inter-building departments or clearer tools for expanding headcount without needing to duplicate expensive executive teams.Despite these management bottlenecks, it’s a brilliant tycoon game that I highly recommend to anyone who loves deep, realistic strategy. Keep up the great work, devs!"

The game is really fun to play but there are two things it could use. 1, Being that there is no tutorial the learning curve is steep. My suggestion is that you should have a tutorial for the every aspect of the game (launching and IPO, staff management etc). 2 there is a bug where I turned off politics and I’m still getting gender equity fines from New York. Thank you for reading, sincerely a dedicated player

Thank you for the detailed feedback. We appreciate both the tutorial suggestion and the report regarding fines appearing when politics is disabled. Reports like this are very helpful and we'll look into it further.
Challenging yet entertaining!

I was excited for this game’s release because it looked fun on the images. I can tell you I’m not disappointed! I like the fact that you have competition you have to beat while managing funds and the many different laws the cities will pass to try to hinder your growth. However every game has room for improvement1. TutorialWhen I started playing I was confused and especially for clueless younger users it will be hard for them to figure things out. A tutorial would be much appreciated.2. Customization after startingAfter playing for a bit I’ve wanted the ability to change my name; or the difficulty but the ability isn’t provided. I know this would be a big ask but it would be nice to have those added abilities.3. More citiesThis one isn’t necessary but I feel like more cities would make the game have more strategy and would take longer to have it all under your coffee empire. I know there are plantations in Jamaica, Colombia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Vietnam, and Indonesia but I would want cities in those countries too because it would make for a more interesting play style. (It would also even the distribution of cities (there are 0 in Africa and South America)).Overall this is a great game and deserves 5 stars.
Developer Response
Thank you for the thoughtful review and suggestions. Better onboarding is something many players have mentioned, and we appreciate the feedback regarding customization and additional cities as well. We're glad you're enjoying the challenge and depth of the game!
Needs some touch ups

This game is not terrible. But there is always room for improvement. First off, add a tutorial! You just get sent into the game without any explanation about what to do or how to get new coffee beans. Imagine if you were nine and had no idea about anything in the world. This game would not be ideal. I’m 16 so I know I few things since I take financial literacy. Secondly, when you are making a custom interior design, if you make a mistake, you cannot click undo. That is because there is no undo button. That needs to be fixed. Lastly, the music could be better. You only hear the music in the beginning and when you are looking at your coffee shop. There could be some light lofi music playing when you are looking at the map. There also needs to better music options. I more mean the “Deck the Halls” music. That needs to go. I’m sure this will all be done eventually.
