Turns out that fighting Diablo Immortal’s monstrous hordes is a heavenly experience. The flashy, frenetic combat never fails to satisfy with touch controls and controllers, and discovering powerful gear can completely change play styles in amazing ways. Friends can help defeat demons in dungeons or, later, take the fight to other players in online battlegrounds. Whether we play for 10 minutes or an evening, the sheer variety of dungeons and challenges ensures we have a fiendishly good time in our pursuit of ultimate power.
They could have made a lot of money but a lot wouldn’t have been enough

Blizzard's web site has a statement of their values. Under "Gameplay First", it says: "Everything we do at Blizzard Entertainment is based on the success of the gaming experiences we provide our players. The goal of each discipline within the company -- be it art, programming or customer support -- is to make our games as fun as possible for as many people as we can reach." Diablo Immortal is a violation of that mission statement. This is a game where they made gameplay juuuuust good enough that you could witness the genuinely enjoyable gameplay you could get if you pay them money, constantly. The guys throwing down tons of money are getting the "games as fun as possible" experience. The guys not throwing money are getting a "games just good enough" experience. And what a shame. This is a well crafted, beautiful, and enjoyable game except for the ridiculously excessive monetization. I bought X-Com 1 & 2, and Civilization 6 for my iPad, happily. They devs of those games didn't have anything on their agendas but "make it awesome." Blizzard could have done that. They could have charged us what they'd have charged for a full Diablo game. They could have said, "the opening is free but each subsequent chapter is a purchase" (like Space Marshalls does). But instead they said, "all those really terrible PTW games out there?... let's see if we can out-do every one of them."

While most mobile games are made by these companies pretty much exclusively for generating revenue while working on other projects; this one shines as brightly as the other games in this series. Obviously it would rank at the bottom in comparison to its PC counterparts, it’s still got a ways to go, BUT I see potential for this to be the best game on the App Store. It has Diablo 3 graphics but without the dodge roll that makes the game super easy. it sort of feels like a modernized Diablo 2 when it comes to combat, because of the mentioned above lack of a dodge mechanic, placement of your player is important. This makes the combat feel challenging, and rewarding at the end of a hard boss.Unfortunately, You do hit a wall where it becomes pretty hard to progress at all without spending a little bit of money, and for this i really think it’s a bad look for you guys considering we wanted a new Diablo game for forever. Then we finally get one but it’s a pay to win fest. Why couldn’t you guys just make this like the rest in the series? We don’t even care that it’s mobile, and honestly the story and the gameplay itself is awesome, just really really wish that there was an alternate mode I guess. Like a single player mode that maybe you can buy for a one time fee? So essentially it makes the game have a difficulty you can adjust as you go, and characters you can keep but not link to a multiplayer server. Like BRUH THAT’S ALL WE WANT PLEASE HEAR US BLIZZARD! That can’t be hard to do, AND as long as it’s not a subscription I would actually pay a full game price for that option.
It was the necromancer that caught my eye. Otherwise I wouldn’t even get the game.

Although it’s been a day playing this game without knowing literally anything about Diablo, I been waiting over a year for this game to come out, and now it’s here! The first time I saw this game was when it was announced, I was interested at first, but they didn’t show the necromancer, so I immediately threw it into the back burner and waited for a game that did include a necromancer, which are all on STEAM which I don’t have, and a necromancer is my favorite class in any fantasy game, because of the undead army you can raise, and the other things you can do with it. It wasn’t until Blizzard included the necromancer that it immediately went on my radar again, and so I watched videos about the lore and story of Diablo, which I instantly didn’t do when I realized that there were no videos that went into detail about it, and that the ones that do were either too long or too short to comprehend. So I just settled fro pre-ordering the game and watching videos about the necromancer in gameplay videos in Diablo 3. I’ll give the game a 9/10 for finally giving me a necromancer in a game that wasn’t on STEAM and the fun and cool gameplay it has to offer, hopefully that game doesn’t get shut down, if not then I’ll be spending money on the game! Oh yeah for someone who reads this, I know I dragged this along a little too far, but don’t judge me if you’re a Diablo fan. One last thing, when is Blizzard releasing Overwatch 2 and Diablo 3, at this point TF3 will come out before these titles, and I hope I’m wrong about it.
