See What’s New in visionOS 27

Highlights from the WWDC26 Keynote.

The next generation of Apple Intelligence and Siri. Spatial scenes that immerse you in your memories. Notifications that respond with just a glance. The WWDC26 Keynote gave us a glimpse of groundbreaking features coming to visionOS 27. Here’s a recap.

All-new Siri AI

Siri AI has been transformed into a deeply integrated conversational assistant that gives richer answers and gets more done for you, going well beyond quick questions or one-shot tasks. Available over any app, Siri AI can help you with an in-depth plan, feedback on a document, or creative brainstorming.

And with the new dedicated Siri app, you now have an easy way to revisit and resume past conversations. Thanks to Visual Intelligence, you can search, ask, and take action just by looking at something and asking Siri. This works with digital content from within your apps and windows, as well as physical objects in your space.

Apple Intelligence across your apps

Apple Intelligence makes your everyday apps smarter and more useful—from browsing the web in Safari to expressing your creativity with Image Playground. With just a tap, you can compose and edit emails in your own writing style, or let the Passwords app navigate through account pages and update eligible compromised passwords.

Spatial scenes for panorama photos

With just a tap, your panorama photos can become spatial scenes. See landscapes and cityscapes with rich depth that make you feel even more immersed in your memories. You can even set a panorama photo as your Environment to enjoy apps and games in an Environment that’s personal to you. To easily switch up your space, save your favorite panoramas in the Environments View under “My Environments.”

A breathtaking new Environment

Immerse yourself in the beauty of Thórsmörk, Iceland. This new Environment lets you experience the landscape in two stunning variations—a serene daytime view overlooking a beautiful river, and a dramatic night scene featuring a mesmerizing aurora dancing across the sky.

3D models from your Mac

Quickly bring your 3D models from Mac Virtual Display into the world around you. Refine materials, adjust colors, and execute intricate edits, all in real time.

Notification improvements

You can now quickly preview your notifications using just your eyes. Glancing at a new notification expands it to show more information. Tap it to take further actions, like replying to someone without ever opening the Messages app.

Updated Control Center

When you tap your status bar, important information like notifications, controls, and Environments will now be front and center for quick access. Easily change playback controls, adjust your Environment, and access Notification Center all in one view.
