Bangladesh are going to return to Centurion’s SuperSport Park for a Test match after an 18-year gap.
On the same tour, they will play their first-ever Test at Johannesburg’s iconic Wanderers Stadium.
The November–December tour, part of the ICC’s Future Tours Programme, will also feature a three-match ODI series and as many T20Is.
Cricket South Africa (CSA) on Monday confirmed the full schedule.
Tests:
● 1st Test: Johannesburg, Nov 15
● 2nd Test: Centurion, Nov 23
ODIs:
● 1st ODI: East London, Dec 1
● 2nd ODI: Gqeberha, Dec 4
● 3rd ODI: Cape Town, Dec 7
T20Is:
● 1st T20I: Kimberley, Dec 10
● 2nd T20I: Benoni, Dec 12
● 3rd T20I: Centurion, Dec 13
Previously, Bangladesh played only one Test at Centurion across their first three South Africa tours.
On their last tour in 2022, they split two Tests between Durban and Gqeberha (formerly Port Elizabeth).
Across four tours, Bangladesh have played eight Tests in South Africa, losing all by large margins, including five by an innings.
In limited-overs cricket, Bangladesh have claimed just two ODI wins in South Africa, with a 2-1 ODI series victory in 2022 being the exception. They lost the remaining nine ODIs and all three T20Is on that tour.
Cricket South Africa also announced their home schedule for the 2026–27 season, ahead of Bangladesh’s tour.
