The Pubali Bank PLC and the ACI Logistics Limited, Shwapno, have signed a memorandum of understanding recently.
Through this strategic partnership, both organisations will jointly work on customer service enhancement, marketing innovation, CRM integration and co-branded campaign initiatives.
Pubali Bank managing director and chief executive officer Mohammad Ali was present as chief guest while ACI Logistics managing director Sabbir Hasan Nasir was present as guest of honour at the event, said a press release.
Special guests included Pubali Bank deputy managing director Md Shahnewaz Khan and ACI PLC director, treasury, finance and planning, Abu Hasan Zaman.
Also present were Pubali Bank general manager and Dhaka North Region head AKM Abdur Rakib, Mohakhali corporate branch general manager Md Shahin Shahria, deputy general manager and alternative delivery channel division head Md Rabiul Alam, Dhanmondi branch DGM Nigar Sultana, Gulshan Circle 1 corporate branch DGM Md Moniruzzaman and assistant general manager Mohammad Mizanur Rahman.
Speaking on the occasion, Mohammad Ali said that the MoU would open a new horizon of long-term cooperation between the two institutions.
He noted that by enhancing customer service and providing innovative banking facilities, both organisations would be able to build a strong value chain together.
He further added that through marketing innovation, improved CRM integration and co-branded initiatives, more modern services could be ensured for customers.
The collaboration between the banking and retail sectors will make everyday transactions easier and more cost-effective through digital payments, loyalty benefits and special offers, while also creating new opportunities for the employees of both organisations.
