Segments

Most reports include extra columns of data, called Segments. You can filter and sort by any column to quickly find what's working and what needs improvement.

Segments are related to Segmentation, but they're calculated up front and included in reports so you don't have to "invoke" segmentation manually on a particular segment, e.g. people who live in Germany. Classic Segmentation also lets segment by more than one variable, see the list of visitors who match that segment, and see top sub-segments of that segment (e.g. top goals by visitors who live in Germany).
