I have a javascript variable. I want to write the content of this variable to a text file. Is this possible using javascript ?

or

can we convert the javascript variable to java variable so that I can use the java code to write it to a file.

assuming we are talking about client / server web environment:

- why are you not http-posting the variable's content back to the server?
