How to pass JavaScript variable value to JSP variable

Hi All,
I have to pass my JavaScript variable value to a JSP variable
something like

Jsp_variable = JavaScript_Variable

Can you help in this.

JavaScript==clientside
JSP==serverside

The only route to pass a clientside value to the server it to make a http request. So submit the value of the JS variable in a form.
