hi,
i have a function in jsp, with a argument. i must access the function from java script and pass the user input value to that function.
plz help me

jsp is executed on server side, javascript on client side. You must submit request to execute jsp function.

And don't put functions in JSPs. Use beans and JSTL and do all processing in servlets.
