Whether JavaFX: Developing Rich Internet Applications book aims a developer or designer?

Whether JavaFX: Developing Rich Internet Applications book , aims a specific group say developer or designer? I have also tried out some javaFX samples using netbeans, But i didnt find any timeline, or other stuff related to do animation using GUI.Is it available as a seperate IDE (i saw in some video tutorials that tools available to drag and drop various components to create some FX wonders). whether this kind of things (usage of the JavaFX GUI based editor and the ways to use it... )covered in this book.?

The book is most focused on the developer, but does cover how the Graphic Designer would generate graphical assets from Adober Illustrator and PhtoShop, or from SVG files. The developer can then take these assets and do his magic.

In Netbeans, there is a palette on the right hand side, that has most of the JavaFX components, shapes, multi-media and animation support.

At JavaONE, there was a preview of the JavaFX Authoring Tool which is more of a WYSIWYG type editor with complete support for animation and timeline specification.

Will it bridge the gap between the developer and designer will it can be integrated to Netbeans? are main questions arised in my mind while watching.

One Question.I enquired about JavaFX: Developing Rich Internet Applications book in a bookshop here in kerala,India But they have no idea. Is this book available here in Indian bookshops.? Which is the publisher here in India?

From what I saw of the demo, it's a Java WebStart application so it probably won't be integrated into NetBeans. Listening to a recent Java Posse podcast, it sounds like it's targeted more at non-developers (that's why the wiring mode is in there) than for current Java developers.
