I think Flash vs Silverlight vs JavaFX battle is mostly a moot point now. The battle has been won by HTML 5 and mobile applications. Silverlight has very little chance to be of much significance (beyond being used by Netflix) specially when it's not allowed on iPhones and not a factor on Android. MS only hope for it is to be successful with Windows Mobile and that looks very unlikely.
I'm not happy Oracle won't be pushing JavaFX on phones (it could, on Android) but on the other hand maybe it shows that Oracle is more realistic than Sun on what their chances are on web RIAs.
