Dear all,

I have JavaFX 2.0 SDK installed, along with Java 7 SDK. I downloaded the javafx_samples-2_0_1.zip from Oracle download site, I tried running a sample but got the following exception:

The SDK is located at C:\Program Files\Oracle\JavaFX Runtime 2.0\. What am I missing here?

Thanks.

Hi Terry,

Unfortunately no answer from me (yet) ... I'm having the same problem when I try to launch JFX projects in the browser.
Launching as a web start or stand alone project seems to be ok for me.

Hopefully, somebody will come to our rescue soon :-)

Thanks siska corneillie,

Yes, you are right, all the *.jar and *.jnlp files work perfectly.

Hope someone can solve the problem for running them in browsers.

Is your query related to this?

Get JavaFX 2.0 Runtime, rather than JavaFX Runtime 2.0
This is the name of the folder for the JavaFX runtime components in the Oracle directory where you have installed JavaFX
or to clarify simply...
update your runtime to JavaFX 2.0.2 or the latest which is JavaFX 2.0.2 to date.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
