How to test NodeJS code unlike java script which can be put in HTML and tested?

To test java script code we can put that in HTML with script as java script tag. How can be test NodeJS code?

To test NodeJS you would probably want to use a framework like one of those listed here https://raygun.com/blog/javascript-unit-testing-frameworks/ which includes Jasmine, Mocha, AVA, Tape and Jest.

You can use any IDE of choice for JavaScript editing including Eclipse. Some IDEs work better for some projects and some people. Some times the employer forces an IDE on you.
