Summary
using /learn-taste command times out after 5 mins in a project with heavy sessions. i burned through my credits for quite sometime by trying different models like GLM-5.2-fast, Kimi K2.7 Code HighSpeed for quite some time, it still got timed out after 5 mins.
Expected Behavior
The default timeout should be 5 mins which should be fine for most scenarios if the session files are small, but for my case i expected a environment variable or some kind of parameter to over ride the default 5 minutes timeout as my session file is 70 MB. Or even dynamically decide the timeout's by getting the size of all session files for project before letting taste-1 analyse.
Actual Behavior
Times out after 5 mins of timeout under large session files
Steps to reproduce the issue
The issue can be reproduced by running /learn-taste or cmd learn-taste in project which has large session files.
Command Code Version
0.40.8
Operating System
Linux
Terminal/IDE
Kitty
Shell
xonsh
Additional context
I can share the session file in private for debugging purposes. I cant share my session file in public.
