Bring back the audioop module
#1
Thumbs Down
Python removed the audioop module in 3.13, but that was a bad idea. A Python-build software that I want to use includes that module, and now it may no longer work anymore. That software is VERY REQUIRED TO ME, and now I cannot use it perfectly anymore because of Python. So, BRING BACK THE AUDIOOP MODULE!! OR ELSE THIS SOFTWARE MAY SHUTDOWN FOREVER AND NEVEY USE IT EVER AND EVER AND EVER AND EVER!! Angry

Perhaps you should send this to the folks who wrote python at python.org.

Deprecated since version 3.11, will be removed in version 3.13

Nothing stops you using an older Python-Version.
  • Use Python 3.x - Python 3.12
  • If Python 3.13 is used, then you should look for drop-in replacements: Google-Search: AUDIOOP+drop-in+replacement
