A podcast recorded as part of an AI conference: In this episode, we talk with Oren Melamed, AI Lead at AT&T, about the moment you realize the IDE is no longer the center of gravity, just a window into what’s really happening behind the scenes. We covered Copilot in the cloud, Claude, MCP, and plan mode. What a workday looks like when agents run in parallel, make decisions, and sometimes do dumb things. Where it saves hours, and where it makes you realize your job has already changed without you asking for it. We also dug into questions developers don’t always like to ask out loud: Is the need to “see the code” professionalism, or just a habit that’s hard to let go of? If the IDE becomes an orchestration layer, what’s actually left for us to do? And why, specifically now, less coding and more thinking is the real competitive advantage. The revolution is already here. Anyone still building as if nothing has changed will just find out too late.

In this episode of Tech Radar Voice, Eitan Masuari, Head of Tech and DevOps Group Lead at Tikal, hosts Oren Melamed, Engineering Manager, and Assaf Varon, Fullstack Tech Lead at Tikal, for a conversation about AI trends מתוך the Israeli Tech Radar 2025–26. They dive into the world of Vibe Coding – when it’s a game changer that accelerates development, and when it’s a shortcut that introduces junk into production. From there, they move on to productivity tools that boost testing, debugging, and documentation, and finally to emerging standards like MCP and Agent-to-Agent, which allow tools, agents, and teams to speak the same language – and build complex systems more smoothly and faster. A highly practical conversation, packed with real-world examples and insights for developers and managers who live and breathe AI every day.
