- A strong cold front will move across the area on late Thursday, bringing warm/breezy conditions and a chance for severe thunderstorms. The main threat from the storms will be damaging winds in the afternoon/evening.
- There is a Slight Risk (level 2 of 5) for severe thunderstorms Thursday evening going into Thursday night for most of our forecast area. Showers and storms ahead of a cold front may be strong to severe with wind gusts of 60+ mph.

- Here's a look at the chance for severe thunderstorms for the next three days: Isolated showers are possible along the coast tonight, then mostly dry for Wednesday. Storm chances increase late Thursday with the potential for severe wind gusts.Risk is highest across the north where the SPC has designated a Slight Risk (level 2 of 5).
- An area of low pressure located over northeastern Mexico continues to produce disorganized shower and thunderstorm activity. - Temperatures rise into the 80s/90s for Thursday, with strong to severe storms possible. Rain chances linger into Friday, before clearing out for the weekend.
- Pleasant conditions prevail to start this week. Near-average temperatures with highs in the 80s today and Tuesday, then heating back up Wednesday to the 90s. Other than a few showers Wednesday morning, it will be mostly dry until later this week.
- Partly cloudy overnight, with some increasing clouds toward morning. Lows in the mid 60s inland to low 70s along the coast. We're still looking for scattered to numerous storms once again tomorrow afternoon and evening, with a few severe storms possible.
