💡 Great news for users of the SR 347 near the City of Maricopa. For the SR 347: I-10 to Riggs Road project, construction funding was advanced to Fiscal Year 2028. This aligns with funding that is being provided by the City of Maricopa and in Pinal County for the combined improvements along SR 347. Widening for the Maricopa County portion of SR 347 will help ease congestion and provide a safer commute for people of the region. Follow us for more updates. ✅

🔎 Member Spotlight: Town of Paradise Valley The Town of Paradise Valley is a peaceful, residential community in Maricopa County known for its scenic desert surroundings and commitment to preserving a quiet, rural character. Paradise Valley was named by three surveyors in 1889 who were so impressed by the quiet desert scenery that they called it “Paradise.” When neighboring Phoenix and Scottsdale began expanding in the late 1950s, residents united to protect their rural lifestyle, ultimately incorporating the Town of Paradise Valley on May 24, 1961. More fun facts: ☑️ Paradise Valley covers 15.4 square miles, maintaining spacious, low-density neighborhoods throughout the town. ☑️ Despite being predominantly residential, the town is home to nine resorts, three golf courses, fourteen places of worship, and four medical centers, making it a unique blend of tranquility and high-end amenities. As one of MAG’s 33 member agencies, Paradise Valley partners with us to develop regional solutions in transportation, air quality, homelessness, and more.
