কর্মসংস্থানে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অবদান, বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের সম্মাননা পেল ইউসিবি! ঢাকা, ১৫ জুন ২০২৬: ক্ষুদ্র উদ্যোক্তাদের সহায়তা ও কর্মসংস্থান সৃষ্টিতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অবদান রাখায় বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের সম্মাননা পেয়েছে ইউনাইটেড কমার্শিয়াল ব্যাংক পিএলসি (ইউসিবি)। এশিয় উন্নয়ন ব্যাংক (এডিবি) এর সহায়তায় বাস্তবায়িত ‘সাপোর্টিং পোস্ট কোভিড-১৯ অ্যান্ড স্মল স্কেল এমপ্লয়মেন্ট ক্রিয়েশন প্রজেক্ট’ এ সাফল্যের সাথে অবদান রাখায় এ স্বীকৃতি পেয়েছে ইউসিবি। বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকে সম্প্রতি আয়োজিত অনুষ্ঠানে ইউসিবির অতিরিক্ত ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক আদনান মাসুদের হাতে সম্মাননা তুলে দেন বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের ডেপুটি গভর্নর নুরুন নাহার। প্রকল্প বাস্তবায়নের সময় ইউসিবি শতাধিক ক্ষুদ্র উদ্যোক্তাকে অর্থায়ন সহায়তা প্রদান করে। কর্মসংস্থান সৃষ্টি এবং দেশের অর্থনৈতিক পুনরুদ্ধারে তা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখে। বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংক ইউসিবির এ অবদান এবং অন্তর্ভুক্তিমূলক অর্থায়ন ও উদ্যোক্তা উন্নয়নে ভূমিকার স্বীকৃতি প্রদান করে। অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের নির্বাহী পরিচালক মনোজ কুমার হাওলাদার, জিএফএ কনসাল্টিং গ্রুপের টিম লিডার আলী সাবেত, ইউসিবির সিনিয়র এক্সিকিউটিভ ভাইস প্রেসিডেন্ট ও হেড অব ডিস্ট্রিবিউশন অ্যান্ড স্ট্র্যাটেজি মোহাম্মদ রিদওয়ানুল হক, এসএমই ও কৃষি ব্যাংকিং বিভাগের প্রধান এফভিপি মোহাম্মদ সেলিম চৌধুরী প্রমুখ।
