Bangladesh pacer Hasan Mahmud returned with career-best innings and match figure on his English County debut with Kent to inspire his side to a 140-run victory over Lancashire inside three days at Blackpool on Monday.
Needing a record-breaking 424 to win, the home side was dismissed for 283 with Hasan finishing with 6 for 69 in the innings and a match aggregate of 9 for 101.
He picked up three for 32 in the first innings after becoming only second Bangladeshi after Shakib Al Hasan to play in a county championship match.
Hasan is supposed to play one more match for Kent, against Middlesex starting June 19 at Canterbury, before joining the national team for the upcoming Zimbabwe tour.
