Cultural organisation Samageet Sangskriti Prangan celebrated its 24th founding anniversary by organising a program at Sangskriti Bikash Kendra in the Paribagh area in Bangladesh capital Dhaka on Friday.
The event featured discussions, songs, recitations, dance recitals, and other performances.
Alongside the artists of Samageet, renowned singer Farzana Wahid Shayan, artist and environmentalist Arup Rahee, among others, performed at the program.
‘We observe this day as a gathering of our collective dreams, struggles, love, and promises. The event brings together our artist friends and team members while we enjoy seasonal fruits and performances,’ said Bithi Ghosh, the vice-president of the organisation.
Driven by a cultural commitment to building a society for all souls, Samageet began its journey on May 1, 2002.
