Walton has introduced a new smartphone under its ‘Xanon’ series, the Xanon X22 5G, featuring advanced specifications and 5G network support, said a press release.
The smartphone comes with a 50-megapixel primary camera and is powered by a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G processor. The device also features 16GB Rapid Memory, large storage capacity, a powerful battery with fast-charging support and numerous modern features.
Walton Mobile chief business officer Abu Zahid stated that the smartphone was available in two colours — Obsidian Grey and Zenith Green. The handset is priced at Tk 25,999 (excluding VAT).
Manufactured at Walton’s own production facility, the smartphone comes with a 30-day special replacement facility and one year of after-sales service.
Customers can purchase the new 5G smartphone from all Walton Plazas, NexG brand shops, distributor showrooms, and mobile phone brand and retail outlets across the country.
The device is also available through Walton’s online sales platforms, allowing customers to purchase it conveniently from home.
According to the company, the smartphone runs on Android 16 operating system and incorporates LPDDR5 memory technology, enabling users to enjoy up to 16GB of Rapid Memory. For graphics processing, it features an ARM Mali-G610 MC2 GPU, delivering enhanced speed and performance.
The device offers 128GB of internal storage, expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card. It features a 6.8-inch U-Notch IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 630 nits HBM brightness.
On the rear, the smartphone is equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX752 sensor-based main camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera with PDAF support. The phone includes multiple shooting modes such as Night, Pro Video, Slow Motion, and Macro. For video recording, it offers 2K EIS (Electronic Image Stabilisation) support. A side-mounted fingerprint scanner is also included.
For extended power backup, the device is equipped with a 6,000mAh high-capacity ultra-large battery. It supports 18W Type-C fast charging, ensuring quick charging capability. Additional features include IP64 dust and water resistance, dual-microphone active noise cancellation, and Smart Touch technology.
