The five-member Bangladesh tennis team left home for Cambodia on Sunday to take part in the ITF Asia 14&U Development Championships to be held in Phnom Penh from February 3 to 14.
Bangladesh team comprised two boys - Zubair Islam and Al Rafi of Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan, and two girls – Jannat Hawladar of Madaripur Tennis Club, Mastura Afrin of National Tennis Complex – and the captain Khan Maksudul Karim.
The under-14 boys and girls from hosts Cambodia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Laos, Macau, Mongolia, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Timor-Leste, Maldives, Vietnam and Japan will take part in the competition approved by the International Tennis Federation.
