These are here purely for informational reasons. No support is given to these whatsoever.

    Information:
We're following Mojang's policy and require modern Java versions for our plugins too. Currently, all our plugins require Java 21.

    > What is FAWE and why should I use it?
FAWE is designed for efficient world editing.
    • Simple to setup and use
    • Extremely configurable
    • Uses minimal CPU/Memory
    • Safe for many players to use
    • Insanely fast, when using the slowest mode
If you use other plugins which depend on WorldEdit, simply having FAWE installed will boost their performance.

    > World Editing Performance
There several placement modes, each supporting higher throughput than the previous. All editing is processed async with certain tasks being broken up on the main thread. The default mode is chunk placement.
    • Blocks (Bukkit-API) - Only used if chunk placement isn't supported. Still faster than any other plugin on spigot.
    • Chunks (NMS) - Places entire chunk sections
    • World (CFI) - Used to generate new worlds / regions

    > Protection plugins

The following plugins are supported with Bukkit
    [IMG]

    > Logging and Rollback
By default you can use `//inspect` and `//history rollback` to search and restore changes. To reduce disk usage, increase the compression level and buffer size. To bypass logging use `//fast`.

    > Developer API

    https://intellectualsites.gitbook.io/fastasyncworldedit/
    • FAWE maintains API compatibility with WorldEdit so you can use the normal WorldEdit API async.
    • FAWE also has some async wrappers for the Bukkit API.
    • The wiki has examples for various things like reading NBT, modifying world files, pasting schematics, splitting up tasks, lighting etc.

i love how this plugin has just never worked ever, at one point like 4 years ago it worked and i could edit large areas without killing the server so now i have to somehow figure out how to fill the giant generated laggy underground sht and not just simply fill air it. As outlined on the resource page "The latest download from SpigotMC supports 1.21.4 - 26.x". If you want to use FAWE on outdated MC versions, please refer to the version archive.

One of the best plugins I've used for a long time, I'd give it 5 stars, but it hasn't been updated to the new version 26.1 for a long time

Been using this plugin for a couple of weeks now and ran into no issues as of yet. Far faster than base World Edit for what I need it for. Keep up the amazing work!

I have no problem with the plugin itself; I’ve used it for years. However, for some reason, it’s buggy in version 1.21.10. Whatever I do, it doesn’t load the changes unless I reconnect to the server.

The lighting is also bugged: when I copy and paste something to a new location, everything becomes pitch black, and the shadows won't go away no matter what commands I try. I’ve tested about 10 different versions of the plugin, but none of them work properly. I don’t understand why FAWE is doing this now, because when I use the regular WorldEdit, there are no issues.

For example, if I run //cyl 2 50, the regular WorldEdit loads it instantly and I can see the grass blocks. But with FAWE, I have to log out and log back in just to see the area. Also, if I undo a paste, the dark lighting artifacts remain, unlike with the other plugin. If there is any way to fix this, please let me know. Thank you!

Is this you reporting the bug...? Because if you haven't reported any issues anywhere we can actually get information from you then it's a bit difficult to fix anything

This plugin provides, quite reliably, precisely what it advertises. Please do not leave a negative review complaining about the lack of features not advertised.

Overall, It is an EXCELLENT plugin but the reason I gave 4 starts instead of 5 is because if you have a velocity proxy and via version/backwards on your paper frontend server then try to join it gives you a version error UNLESS you join with the exact version the paper server is on. I tested this by removing/adding the plugin which took me a whole 2 weeks to figure out this issue.

    Dear FastAsyncWorldEdit developers!

We, the community of server administrators migrating to Folia, would like to express our deep gratitude for your work on the plugin. We know that work is underway to add Folia support, and this makes us very happy.

Currently, the stable versions of FAWE available on Modrinth and other platforms are not compatible with Folia. As the test of version 2.8.3 showed, even forcibly adding folia-supported:true to plugin.yml does not solve the problem, and the plugin encounters errors (UnsupportedOperationExceptions).

We are aware of the existence of experimental builds (PR #2682 and PR-2998) that add Folia support, but they are intended only for version 1.20.4, are not updated and are not officially supported. In addition, there are known limitations in these builds, such as the broken //regen command and problems with copying entities.

We would like to politely ask you to consider speeding up the work and releasing a stable, fully functional version of FAWE with native Folia support for current versions of Minecraft (including 1.21.5). This will greatly help many servers that have already migrated or are planning to migrate to Folia to improve performance.

Thank you for taking the time to review our request. We look forward to hearing about the progress in this area.
