32.82 crore SIMs registered nationwide: Minister

Post, Telecommunications and Information Technology Minister Fakir Mahbub Anam told parliament today (9 June) that the country currently has 32.82 crore valid registered SIM cards under four mobile operators.
The minister shared the information while responding to a question from reserved seat MP Nilofer Chowdhury Moni.
Mahbub said there are currently four mobile network operators in Bangladesh: Teletalk Bangladesh Limited, Grameenphone Limited, Robi Axiata PLC, and Banglalink Digital Communications Ltd.

He added that the combined number of valid registered SIM cards issued by these operators stands at 32.82 crore.
