I go deep on things. Right now that's building frameworks and teaching chess engines to feel. Most of my time goes into Expressive Tea — a TypeScript framework for Node.js — and AILED Chess, where I use audio signal processing concepts to give chess AI something like a personality. I've been writing code on GitHub for 14 years and I still get excited about a clean abstraction, honest code, and making tools that other people can actually use.

AILED Chess — Architecture-agnostic psyche and personality system for chess engines. A continuous emotional state drives an audio-inspired signal chain — noise gate, compressor, EQ, saturation — that reshapes any move probability distribution. Pure Python, no external search or retraining.
ArXiv: Ailed — "Ailed: A Psyche-Driven Chess Engine with Dynamic Emotional Modulation" — Tested across 12,414 games. Demonstrates a monotonic gradient in top-move agreement that mirrors human tilt and overconfidence patterns.
