Summary

  • add mise as an installation option in the installation guide
  • document prerequisites, global and project-pinned installs, shim refresh, and verification
  • link the mise documentation reference

Fixes #1567

Test plan

  • Docs-only change; no code was changed.
  • Ran a local content check to confirm the mise section, reference link, install command, and verification command are present in INSTALLATION.md.
