I'm Brian Bustos a.k.a larous25

Mathematician and Software Developer from Bogotá, Colombia. I enjoy solving problems and continuously learning new technologies. Passionate about open-source software, mathematics, and image processing.

Think I'm something of a polyglot because I know many languages. Besides several programming languages, I can read mathematics, which is a language of its own. I also speak Spanish, English, and some Japanese, Chinese, and French.



Life is a grayscale image.

In this type of image, the set of possible values is defined as

$$ T = \lbrace0,1,\ldots,t_{\max}\rbrace $$

where

$$ t_{\max} = 2^n - 1 $$

and $n$ is the number of bits used to represent intensity levels (gray levels). The value $0$ typically represents black, while $t_{\max}$ represents white.

$$ f : \mathcal{D}_f \subset \mathbb{Z}^n \longrightarrow \lbrace 0,1,\ldots,t_{\max} \rbrace $$

I really like LaTeX, and I find this definition beautiful enough to put somewhere in my profile. XD
