I have logged in to https://open-vsx.org/ with @processing-bot, created an account at https://accounts.eclipse.org/, signed the ECA, and linked the Eclipse account to the processing-bot gitHub account.

I am following the steps outlined here: https://dev.to/diana_tang/solving-open-vsx-must-log-in-with-eclipse-foundation-account-error-hp5

  • Sign the Eclipse Contributor Agreement (ECA)
  • Link Your GitHub Account
  • Wait for Synchronization
  • Create Your Namespace

Attempting to "Log in with Eclipse" to the Open VSX Registry fails with Client not found. May need to wait longer for the synchronization.

@Stefterv I was able to log in today. I generated a token and added it to the repository secrets as OPENVSX_TOKEN as you suggested. Let me know if there is anything else you need.

The Processing VS Code Extension is now also available on OpenVSX at https://open-vsx.org/extension/processing-foundation/processing-vscode-extension

If you use VSCodium, Cursor, Theia, Gitpod, code-server, Antigravity, or other marketplace-independent editors, you’ll be able to install Processing right from the extensions panel without extra steps.
