Ouch. Looks like the change in build-framework to detect unsupported Node versions actually doesn't work: I want to hold on landing this patch until the problem is fixed. |

Skip 2.x and go to 3.x to match the upcoming major version of LoopBack.
Rework the test waiting for connection failure to periodically check whether the error has been reported yet, instead of having a constant timeout value.
