Light to moderate rain likely

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast rains in parts of the country  in 24 hours commencing 9:00am on Wednesday.

According to the latest Met Office bulletin, rains may occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna & Barishal divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions, reports UNB.

Meanwhile, a mild heat wave is sweeping over Khulna division as well as Manikganj, Nilphamari and Rajshahi districts, and it may continue, the Met Office added.
