National Board of Revenue (NBR) in particular respects your privacy and committed to protect your personal information that you share with us. To register or Re- register for Tax Identification Number (TIN) and provide you TIN certificate, you have to give necessary information. Information is verified with respective organizations (Election Commission Bangladesh and Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms). We may share necessary data with other Government agencies, departments or authorized organizations. However, Information collected by us, used only for TIN certificate generation, official purposes, and internal reviews. We do not use, share or pass your information for commercial purposes or to any unauthorized organizations. All record keepers face the possibility of disclosure of their records in some civil, criminal, or administrative matter. National Board of Revenue could be required to disclose personal information in response to valid legal processes such as a search warrant, or court order. Disclosures may also be necessary to protect the Government's legal rights or during emergencies if physical safety is believed to be at risk.
