Nadia Jiang is an entrepreneur, open-source enthusiast, and DevRel expert. She is currently the Head of Open Source Growth at Ant Group, where she leads initiatives that foster innovation and collaboration across the open-source ecosystem. Previously, she was COO of SegmentFault, China’s largest developer Q&A community, and co-founder of Apache Answer. Nadia is a passionate contributor to the global open-source community. She currently serves as Board Chair of KAIYUANSHE (China Open-Source Alliance) and is a Member of the Apache Software Foundation. She is also actively engaged with leading organizations, including the OpenInfra Foundation, LF APAC, OpenUK, China Computer Federation (CCF), and the China Institute of Communications (CIC). Nadia has spoken at major international open-source conferences—such as CommunityOverCode (Asia/EU/NA), Open Source Summit, State of Open Con, FOSDEM, and FOSSAsia Summit—and was featured as the Most Active Speaker by Sessionize in 2024. As a dedicated organizer, she chairs and leads events like CommunityOverCode Asia, OpenInfra Days China, KCD, Dev.Together Summit China, and OSPO Summit China, promoting knowledge sharing within the developer community. Driven by a strong belief in the power of open source, Nadia is committed to empowering developers and fostering a more inclusive, innovative open-source world.

In 2021, I launched Dev.Together, China's first conference focused on DevRel. Over the past few years, I have chaired and led the organisation of the Dev.Together Summit. We invited open source and developer relations experts from companies/organization such as GitHub, Linux Foundation, Alibaba, and Huawei to give talks, share knowledge, and exchange experiences.

I spoke at FOSSAsia Summit 2025 on Ant Group's 3+ year's of OSPO Journey to the Global Stage. I shared my learnings and reflections from building Ant Group’s OSPO in a rapidly changing environment—facing constant challenges from leadership and peers, and working to establish a sustainable open-source ecosystem.

I volunteered at the OpenUK State of Open Con in 2024 and 2025, and gave talks at the conference for the two years. In 2024, I introduced the development of China's open source ecosystem, and in 2025, I participated in a panel discussion on the Chinese AI ecosystem.

I organised a BoF session at FOSDEM 2025 on Building Bridges: Exploring the Future of Developer Relations. DevRel practitioners with diverse background (such as community managers from start-ups and documentation engineers from Google) gathered to discuss how to build healthy developer relationships and active communities in the AI era.

As the community manager and PMC Member of Apache Answer, I have been contributing to the Apache Answer community for a long time and have helped drive this project into the Apache Software Foundation Incubator. In January 2025, Apache Answer graduated from the incubator and became an Apache Software Foundation Top-Level Project.
Open source project / 01-28-2025
I am the Board Chair of KAIYUANSHE for 2024 and 2025, and I led the organisation of the 9th and 10th COSCon conferences. The conference had a total of 22 different tracks and one main track. Thousands of people participated in person, and tens of thousands more watched the conference via live stream.
