ENA Group has established a 50 MW power plant at Katakhali, Rajshahi named Northern Power Solution Limited. It was inaugurated on October 12, 2009. It was setup with renowned generator brand of WARTSILA from Finland and running its operation successfully from the beginning .The principal activity of this company is to set up power plants for generation and supply of electricity to The National Grid. The company has a guaranteed market to sell electricity. Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) is the sole customer to purchase NPSL produced electricity. BPDB and the company has made an agreement for 15 years. In view of the enormous opportunities, the company is striving to establish another 104 MW new power plant. ENA Group, as the fast-growing company has set a mission to expand the company with a power generation capacity to the tune of 500 MW, which is a modest 10% of the electricity requirement in Bangladesh.
