Colab is the tool Google uses to build Gemini, the easiest way to access TPUs and NVIDIA GPUs, and the best way to learn how to program in Python.
- In collaboration with our friends at @huggingface, Colab managed runtime images now include transformers installed by default. `import transformers` is all you need. We regularly update our image, but you can always force an upgrade with `!pip install transformers --upgrade`
- You can now safely store your private keys, such as your @huggingface or @kaggle API tokens, in Colab! Values stored in Secrets are private, visible only to you and the notebooks you select.
- Gemini has launched! We are starting a series of notebooks demonstrating Gemini in Colab, starting with using Sheets and Colab to facilitate creation of a personalized holiday note. Once you have a Gemini API key from Google AI Studio, try it out here:
