New dean of Education Sciences faculty at NSTU

NOAKHALI, June 13: Professor Dr Abidur Rahman of the Information and Communication Engineering (ICE) Department has been appointed as the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Education Science at Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU). 

The appointment was confirmed through an office order signed by the university’s Acting Registrar, Md Tamzid Hossain Chowdhury.

According to the order, he will serve as Acting Dean of the Faculty of Education Science until further notice.
Professor Dr Abidur Rahman earned his bachelor’s degree from the Department of Applied Physics, Electronics and Communication Engineering at the University of Dhaka. Later, he received the prestigious Erasmus Mundus scholarship from the European Union and completed his master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering at the University of Padua, Italy.

Subsequently, he obtained his PhD in 2020 from the Department of Information Display at Kyung Hee University in South Korea. He completed postdoctoral research at the same university between 2023 and 2024.
