DSE extends trading hours by 5 minutes

The authorities of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) have decided to extend trading hours by five minutes starting Wednesday (June 17).

The DSE announced this decision on Tuesday. Under the revised schedule, regular trading will take place from 10AM to 2PM.

At present, the main trading session begins at 10AM and ends at 1:55PM, followed by a five-minute post-closing session from 1:55PM to 2PM.

According to the new schedule, both the regular trading period and the post-closing session have been extended. As per the DSE's decision, regular trading will commence at 10AM and continue uninterrupted until 2PM starting Wednesday.
