Islamic Economics Research Bureau (IERB) Bangladesh is a privately organized research institution with the basic objective of undertaking research on Islamic Economics and disseminate the results of such works through various means.
As a dedicated research organization to Islamic Economics, IERB’s Vision, Mission, Objectives and Activities represents its aspiration to Islam and academic approach to Islamic Economics
History of IERB:
Islamic Economics Research Bureau had a very modest beginning more than 2 (two) decades ago. In 1976, a small group of dedicated Islamic thinkers founded what is now known as “Islamic Economics Research Bureau”. Run purely on voluntary contributions, the IERB is one of the very few modern private research institutions on Islamic Economics which has not only survived for more than two decades, but also has already become an internationally renowned research institution without any access either to international or government fund. The dedicated efforts of Islamic thinkers in Bangladesh are to be thanked for this impressive performance .
