Glow & Lovely has become the official Training & Growth Partner of the Bangladesh Women’s National Football Team, marking a new chapter for women’s football in the country.
The partnership was formally announced at a signing ceremony held at the Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden on Monday.
Representatives from the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF), senior officials of Unilever Bangladesh Limited, and members of the women’s national football team, including Umehla Marma, Afeida Khandaker Pranti and Yearzan Begum, were present at the event.
Under the two-year agreement, Glow & Lovely will support the training and development journey of the Bangladesh women’s football team.
As part of the partnership, the brand’s logo will appear on official practice and training-related team assets, including training kits and selected BFF-controlled communication platforms.
The partnership will also support personal development training for the players, according to officials.
Bangladesh women’s football has gained significant attention in recent years after winning the SAFF Women's Championship titles in 2022 and 2024 and securing qualification for the AFC Women's Asian Cup 2026.
Speaking at the event, Beauty & Wellbeing Head of Unilever Bangladesh Zaheen Islam said Glow & Lovely has long been committed to empowering women through growth and development initiatives.
“We are proud to support the women’s national football team as their Training & Growth Partner for the next two years. We believe these footballers will inspire women across the country to move forward with confidence and ambition,” he said.
Describing the partnership as a major milestone, BFF President Tabith Awal said the association would help strengthen the recognition of women’s talent in football.
“Women’s football is emerging as a strong ambassador for Bangladesh on the global stage,” he said.
BFF Vice President Fahad Karim termed the partnership a significant boost for women’s football and player development.
“Glow & Lovely is a brand with a legacy of more than three decades. Their support in training and growth development is truly encouraging,” he said.
SAFF-winning goalkeeper Yearzan Begum thanked the brand for supporting the team.
“As our training requires us to spend long hours under the sun, it feels great to have a brand like Glow & Lovely standing beside us. We hope to bring home the SAFF Championship trophy once again with their support,” she said.
Midfielder Umehla Marma also expressed optimism about the partnership and hoped the support would continue in the future.
National team captain Afeida Khandaker Pranti described it as the first partnership of such scale for the team.
“We now have the opportunity to secure a hat-trick title at the upcoming SAFF Championship, and we will strive to make the most of this partnership in achieving that goal,” she said.
Officials of Unilever Bangladesh said the company would continue supporting initiatives related to training, growth, and development to help advance women’s football in Bangladesh.
