Rubab Mazumder Earns Honours Degree in Malaysia
Rubab Mazumder, a meritorious student from Dhaka's Uttara, has successfully earned her Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering degree from Taylor's University, one of Malaysia's leading private universities and a top-tier educational institution in Southeast Asia.
The university's annual convocation ceremony was held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the Grand Hall of Taylor's University's Lakeside Campus. During the event, graduates from various faculties formally received their degree certificates. The convocation was attended by the university's Vice-Chancellor, all faculty members, and distinguished guests from Malaysia.
Rubab informed NTV Online that her final year project was a completely individual project. Her research paper received special recognition for its innovative thinking and potential for real-world application. For this project, she earned the "Best Commercial Potential Paper" award.
