Training Workshop on Administrative Excellence and Office Management Held at JUST
The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) organized a day-long training workshop titled "Administration Excellence and Office Management" for the university officials to enhance their administrative dynamism and skills.
The workshop commenced today, Wednesday (June 17), at 10:30 AM at the Professor Mohammad Sharif Hossain Gallery in the National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam Academic Building. The primary goal of the session was to improve efficiency in modern office management among university staff.
Professor Dr. Imran Khan, Vice-Chancellor (Routine Charge) of JUST, graced the occasion as the chief guest. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of such sessions, stating, "A university's institutional success largely depends on its administrative dynamism and modern office management. This training workshop will guide our officials to become more efficient, transparent, and accountable in their official duties."
Professor Dr. Md. Nurunnabi, Treasurer of Khulna University, presented the keynote paper at the workshop. S. M. Shahin, Chief Executive Officer of Jessore Zila Parishad, was also present as a discussant. Throughout the day, speakers delivered detailed insights and training on various aspects of administrative excellence, including modern office management, e-nothi (electronic filing) operations, institutional communication, and official etiquette.
The workshop was presided over by Dr. K. M. Anis-Ul-Haq, Director (Current Charge) of IQAC, while Kazi Md. Jalal Uddin, Registrar of JUST, delivered the welcome address. Officials from various offices and departments of the university actively participated in the training program.
