BPO Summit 2026 Hits Chattogram on June 20
The BPO Summit Bangladesh 2026 will be held in Chattogram on June 20, aimed at driving digital innovation and linking youth to global tech opportunities.
The 'BPO Summit Bangladesh 2026 (Chattogram)' is set to take place on June 20 at Khulshi Convention Hall in Chattogram. The summit is jointly organized by the Bangladesh Association of Contact Center and Outsourcing (BACCO), the Business Promotion Council (BPC) under the Ministry of Commerce, and the Department of Information and Communication Technology. Under the theme "Where Talent Meets Global Opportunity," the summit aims to effectively connect youth with global employment, outsourcing, freelancing, and the tech-driven economy by accelerating the digital potential of Chattogram.
As part of the pre-summit preparations, a 'University Activation Program' will be held across various universities, alongside a 'Policy Dialogue Session' featuring top district officials and industry experts. Additionally, a roundtable discussion titled 'Round Table with Future Leaders' and an 'ICT Olympiad' will be organized to boost the technical skills and innovative thinking of students. The main event will feature opening and closing ceremonies, along with a keynote seminar titled "Skilled Youth: Driving Innovation and Growth," which will highlight the importance of the 'Freelancer Card' for securing professional recognition and benefits.
Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin, State Minister for the Ministry of Land and the Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs, will grace the event as the chief guest. Chattogram Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Jahidul Islam Miah, BACCO President Tanveer Ibrahim, and General Secretary Foysal Alim will attend as special guests.
Notably, established in 2011, BACCO currently represents over 500 member organizations as the central trade body for the nation's BPO and ITES industry.
